The recent murder case of Renukaswamy and the subsequent arrest of popular Kannada star Darshan and his friend, actor Pavithra Gowda, have sent shock waves across the state and the entire Kannada film industry. The two have been named as the key accused in the case. While many artists in the industry have been voicing their opinions about the murder case and the arrests, another Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep has come forward and reacted to the headlines that are making waves.

Reacting to the latest revelations about the shocking case, actor Kiccha Sudeep expressed his grief over the murder and demanded justice for the victim's wife and unborn child.

During a recent media interaction, the actor revealed, “We are only aware of what the media is showing us because we are not going to the police station to get the information. It looks like the media and the police are working hard to uncover the truth. There’s no doubt about that.”
While reiterating that the victim and his family deserved justice, the actor said that everyone should have faith in justice, and truth should prevail in this case.
Although the actor refrained from mentioning Darshan’s name, Sudeep demanded a clean chit for the whole of KFI (Kannada Film Industry), which has been bearing the brunt ever since the case broke out.
While stating that the industry should not be dragged into the case, the actor said, “All the blame seems to be placed on the film industry. The industry needs a clean chit. There are many artists involved. Cinema is not just one or two people. The film industry will be relieved if the culprit is punished.”
