Keerthy Suresh reveals the first look of her upcoming action flick 'Revolver Rita'

Keerthy Suresh who recently wrapped up her upcoming action movie with Nani titled Dasara, took to Instagram to announce that she has signed on for her next project with noted Tamil writer-director K. Chandru.

The movie titled Revolver Rani will have Keerthy Suresh play the lead role, while plot details remain a mystery the first look poster gives the movie a retro vibe and could be a hint that the movie will be a sort of remake of the 1970 movie of the same name.

The 1970s movie Revolver Rita had veteran actress Vijayalalitha in the lead role and followed the adventures of gunslinger Rita who wanted revenge for the murder of her father.

The movie was inspired by Hollywood westerns like The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly and A Fistful of Dollars.

The upcoming movie will mark Keerthy Suresh's first collaboration with director K. Chandru, who is primarily a scriptwriter.

This will be the second movie directed by K. Chandru following the 2013 hit Naveena Saraswathi Sabatham, which starred Jai and Nivetha Thomas in the lead.

The movie is produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisamy. The editing is being handled by Praveen KL and Dinesh Krishnan B is in charge of the cinematography.

As for the actress, she has five other projects lined up for 2023, the first of which is the action-dram Dasara, in which she will star opposite Nani.

Followed by Bhola Shanker with Chiranjeevi, Maamannan with Praveen KUdhayanidhi Stalin, Siren with Jayam Ravi, and finally, Raghu Thatha, which is being produced by Hombale Films.

The actress first movie of 2023 Dasara recently wrapped shooting and the movie marks the directorial debut of Srikanth Odela.

The movie is a rural drama set in what appears to be the late 80s and early 90s and is set against the backdrop of the Singareni coal mines in Telangana.

Dasara will be relating worldwide on 30th March. 2023.
