Kareena Kapoor Khan takes Devotion of Suspect X on floors, shares first picture from Day 1 shoot

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan has begun shooting for her OTT debut series, Devotion of Suspect X in Kalimpong, West Bengal. The actress treated her fans to a glimpse of her first-day shoot on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Kareena dropped a beautiful picture from the Himalayan foothills of West Bengal featuring herself with her make-up team. In the photo, the actress is looking in the mirror as her team prepares her for the first day of the shoot. In the caption, she wrote, “Day1-Kalimpong…Devotion of suspect X❤️”

Kareena was spotted with her younger son Jeh at Bagdogra airport on Tuesday, prompting speculation that she was on a vacation in the hills. However, her recent social media post has disposed of the rumours. The actress is reportedly staying in a private hotel in Kalimpong till the shoot completes. The film will be shot in Lava, a tourist destination in the Kalimpong district, according to the sources.

Devotion of Suspect X is the upcoming series being helmed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is an adaptation of the Japanese novel by the same name written by Keigo Higashino of Japan. The series marks the digital debut of Kareena, who will be sharing the screen space with actors Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma .

Talking about the film, Kareena earlier said her first digital series has all the right ingredients. “I can’t wait to begin work on this exciting project. It’s one that has all the right ingredients – a great story, a visionary director, and a super talented cast and crew. I am really looking forward to working with Sujoy, Jaideep, and Vijay. It’s the beginning of an electrifying journey and I can’t wait for audiences worldwide to see this global bestseller come to life.” she had said.

Besides it, Kareena is awaiting the release of her upcoming film. Laal Singh Chaddha alongside Aamir Khan . The film is slated to hit theatres on August 11.
