Karan Johar may already have given away the full cast of the Brahmastra trilogy with this 'blockbuster' picture from four years ago

Brahmastra has released and set the cash registers ringing at the box office. While the fans share their views on social media about Bollywood’s biggest film to date, the makers are busy taking notes to decide where do they go next with this ‘Astraverse’. The second part of Brahmastra which will focus on the back story of Dev and Amrita, Shiv’s parents from Part 1, is in the pipeline next and fans are curious to know more.

While Deepika Padukone ’s cameo in the film has confirmed that the actress will be playing Amrita in Part 2, Ranveer Singh ’s name has been doing the rounds as Dev based on the fleeting glimpses of the character that were seen in the film.

In the midst of all these speculations, an old post of Brahmastra producer Karan Johar is going viral which the fans think holds a major hint to what is to follow in the ‘Astraverse’. While director Ayan Mukherji, has confirmed that they are eyeing a December 2025 release for Brahmastra: Part 2 Dev, fans think that not just Ranveer Singh, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan might also be joining the Brahmastra franchise soon in a key role.

The picture from 2018 was posted by Karan with the caption, ‘The biggest BLOCKBUSTER ever!!!!!’ and fans have been revisiting the picture after the release of Brahmastra and speculating that the mega stars in the frame are going to feature in the Brahmastra trilogy.

The picture features, Alia Bhatt , Shah Rukh Khan , Ranbir Kapoor , Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Aamir Khan along with Karan.

Brahmastra has been a subject of various speculations with several reports also claiming that actor Hrithik Roshan might be the one to play Dev in part 2. According to a few other reports, the Vikram Vedha actor has turned down the project.
