‘Kapoor ke bina Pooja kaise hogi’: After Pathaan, Ayushmann Khurrana aka Pooja invites Ranbir for Dream Girl 2; watch

As we all know by now, one of Bollywood’s finest actors Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to return to our screens as Pooja in Dream Girl 2 . With the shoot wrapped up, the actor is now busy with promotions. Last month on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, he even got a call from Shah Rukh Khan aka Pathaan . When the superstar revealed that his next film Jawan will be releasing soon, Pooja shared that her ‘jawani’ will also arrive in theatres on 7th July. Ayushmann aka Pooja said, “7 ko, saath mein.” Well, last night Pooja got a call from another Bollywood heartthrob.

In a clip shared by Ayushmann on his official social media handle, it was revealed that Bollywood’s handsome hunk Ranbir Kapoor called Pooja to wish her happy Holi. Pooja beamed with happiness and went on to claim that RK had promised to marry her but then tied the knot with ‘Aila’ Alia Bhatt instead. On the phone, Ranbir reassured Pooja that it’s just a rumour. But when someone from behind asked who he’s talking to, Ranbir lied, “Koi nahi, woh Bhatinde waali bua hain.” Hearing this, Pooja hit back, “Jhoothe, makkar.”

This is a reference to Ranbir’s new film Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar which released in theatres today on the occasion of Holi. In the end, Pooja invited Ranbir for Dream Girl 2 along with his entire family. When he sounded confused, Pooja replied, “Haan. Kapoor ke bina Pooja kaise hogi?” Just like Pathaan, RK also received ‘smoochies’ at the end of this call. Well, hats off to the makers for these unique promotional videos! Fans just can’t get enough of it. In the comment section below, one netizen shared, “Full promotion bazzi phele pathan ab ranbir movie🌝😂”, whereas another joked, “Whoever comes with these ideas to promote like this maannn you deserve a raise of pay🙌🙌😂😂.”

Also starring Ananya Panday , Dream Girl 2 is the sequel to Ayushmann’s 2019 comedy where he played a cross-gender actor whose female voice impersonation made many men fall in love with him over the phone. We can’t wait to meet Pooja again in July!
