    After the National Award win, Rishab Shetty is all set to resume shooting for his most anticipated film, Kantara: Chapter 1. According to the latest updates, the makers will soon kick start the fourth schedule of the film in the last week of August 2024. Reports also reveal that this schedule will focus on shooting high-octane action sequences. If everything goes as planned, audiences will get to witness the Kannada flick on the big screens very soon.

    It is a big-budget film, and the creators are dedicating significant time to perfecting VFX. Although most of the filming has been completed, the team remains fully committed to maintaining high standards in post-production and visual effects. Their goal is to deliver a worthy sequel that surpasses Kantara 1. Over the past year, the filmmakers have conducted extensive shooting at both real-life locations and studio setups. While the film will be completed soon, post-production has already begun. Kantara 2 is much grander than the first instalment, in terms of the scale and mythological aspects of the storyline.

    After Kantara won Best Actor and Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment at the National Film Awards, Rishab Shetty was asked if he feels more responsible for presenting the next prequel. The actor revealed that he does not feel burdened and is focused on making good cinema. 

    "I always believed that excitement and expectations are not burdens to carry forward. It’s about making good cinema. The support from Hombale Films has been invaluable, and winning awards for two films under their banner is a proud achievement for all of us," the actor shared.
