    The wait is over! The second song Yolo from Suriya’s upcoming and highly anticipated fantasy period action drama Kanguva, has been released. The makers took to social media to share the song, which features Suriya and Disha Patani grooving to a peppy number.

    Sharing the new single, the makers wrote, "It's almost Party Time! #VamosBrincarBabe." Composed by National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad, the energetic track features vocals by Devi Sri Prasad and Lavita Lobo, with Tamil lyrics penned by Viveka. The lively DSP composition showcases Suriya and Disha Patani dancing to this catchy tune, which is expected to top the charts soon.

    The song also introduces their characters—Suriya plays Francis, a shadow cop, a professional bounty hunter, and a weapon master, while Disha Patani plays the character named Angelina, a professional bounty hunter. Check out the new single here:

    Kanguva sequel is in the making

    The makers of Kanguva had earlier revealed plans to expand the film into a major period fantasy franchise. Producer Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green confirmed that a sequel is in the works, with production set to begin in 2026.

    Reports indicate that Suriya's brother, actor Karthi, will make a special appearance in the first part of Kanguva, directed by Siva. He is expected to play a more prominent role in the sequel, potentially as a different character. Details about his role, including whether it has a negative aspect, have not yet been disclosed.

    Directed by Siva, the pan-India Tamil film Kanguva stars Suriya, Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, and K. S. Ravikumar in key roles. On the technical front, the original background score and soundtracks have been composed by National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad. Vetri Palanisamy serves as the cinematographer, while Nishadh Yusuf handles the editing.

    Kanguva is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 14, 2024, coinciding with Children’s Day. It will clash at the box office with the Varun Tej starrer Telugu period film Matka. As previously announced, the post-theatrical streaming rights of Kanguva have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video.
