Kanguva: Grand audio launch of Suriya and Bobby Deol's starrer to take place on THIS date; deets inside

Tamil star Suriya’s highly anticipated fantasy action period drama Kanguva is gearing up for its theatrical release soon. Ahead of the big release, the makers of the film have announced a grand audio launch event.

Kanguva's audio launch details revealed

Taking to social media, the film's creators announced that the audio launch will take place on October 26, 2024, in Chennai at Nehru Stadium. Director Siva and the team shared the news on social media, writing, “Chennai Makkaley! Are you ready to welcome the King? Witness our #Kanguva in all his glory at the Grand #KanguvaAudioLaunch. Nehru Stadium. October 26th, 2024. 6 PM onwards.”

After several postponements, Kanguva is scheduled for a worldwide release this Children’s Day, November 14, 2024.

About Kanguva

Touted to be one of the most expensive Indian films, Kanguva, directed by Siruthai Siva, is a fantasy period action drama starring Suriya, along with Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in their Tamil debut. The movie follows a brave police officer on a mission to fight crime, who discovers a hidden link to an ancient betrayal. The film promises thrilling action, emotional moments, and a mystery that connects events from the past to the present.

In addition to the lead cast, the film also features Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, and K. S. Ravikumar in key roles. On the technical front, the original background score and soundtracks have been composed by National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad. Vetri Palanisamy serves as the cinematographer, while Nishadh Yusuf handles the editing. Kanguva will be released in eight languages worldwide on November 14. Besides Tamil, the film will also be available in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, English, French, and Spanish.

Kanguva's OTT partner

As announced earlier, the streaming rights for Suriya's Kanguva have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video for a whopping Rs 100 crore and will be available for streaming on the OTT platform after its theatrical run.
