The actor recently wrapped up his portions for Thug Life, and now Kamal Haasan seems ready to begin his next venture.

Kamal Haasan teases new look

Teasing his fans with a new hair and beard look, the Tamil actor unveiled a new picture of himself on social media. Fans are curiously trying to figure out what the look might be for. Captioning the picture, "New journey with a new look! #JourneyBegins," the versatile actor is seen sporting sleek, salt-and-pepper hair with a long French beard.

While the actor has not revealed what the "new journey" is about, fans speculate that it could be his look for the upcoming film KH 237, directed by stunt master-turned-filmmaker duo Anbariv.

What is KH 237 all about?

KH 237 marks the directorial debut of the action choreography duo Anbariv. Notably, Anbariv previously collaborated with Kamal Haasan on the grand-scale film Kalki 2898 AD (2024), directed by Nag Ashwin and Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram (2022), and is currently working with the stunt master duo in Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam.

This untitled project, KH 237, was officially announced in January and is being produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. It is set for a theatrical release in 2025. The powerful announcement teaser for Kamal Haasan’s 237th film suggests it will be a full-fledged mass-action entertainer. Although there have been rumors about Anbariv's directorial debut for some time, the veteran actor's decision to team up with the renowned action choreographers took fans by surprise. Details about the rest of the cast and crew have not yet been revealed.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan was last seen in Shankar's sequel Indian 2, which ended on a disappointing note at the box office. The Tamil actor is now pinning his hopes on his next projects with Mani Ratnam and Anbariv to bounce back into action.
