Kamal Haasan and the crew of Indian 2 begin prep work for the next schedule with RRR star Ram Charan

The cast and crew of Indian 2 have recently wrapped up the South African schedule of the movie and are now preparing for the next schedule which will feature RRR star, Ram Charan.

The next schedule with director Shankar called the game changer will start filming in May. At this point, in time we can only speculate on Ram Charan's role in the movie but no doubt it will be impressive.

Director Shankar's Indian 2 had to face multiple delays in its production the first due to the pandemic, followed by an accident on the sets, and finally over a dispute with the producers of the movie.

It was only after the success of Kamal Haasan's Vikram, which went on to not only be one of the biggest hits of 2022 but also one of the biggest hits of the actor's career that Indian 2 found its second wind.

Indian 2 is the sequel to the 1996 vigilante thriller and was the highest-grossing movie of the year, The movie was India's official entry for the Oscars that year and also won three National Awards including Best Actor.

In the movie, Kamal Haasan played the role of Senapathy a former freedom fighter turned vigilante who wants to root out corruption.

According to a new report the makers of the movie are planning on a 2024 Pongal release for the movie which means it will clash with Prabha's science fiction movie Project K and Suriya's period drama Suriya 42.

Project K has a massive star cast, including the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.

As for Suriya 42, the movie was initially planned to be released in October but since production for the movie has not wrapped up and the movie will take time with post-production, the release of the movie has been pushed to 2024.
