The first glimpse of Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen’s romantic drama, Kadhalikka Neramillai, has been revealed! The makers of the film took to their social media handles to share this exciting new preview, which features Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen in a romantic setting. The major highlight of the glimpse was AR Rahman’s catchy composition, which has caught the attention of many.

The new preview showcases Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen seated on two swings in a park, sharing a romantic moment. At first glance, the teaser might remind you of Mani Ratnam’s O Kadhal Kanmani (thanks to ARR's music and Nithya's screen presence), but fans couldn't help but notice the lead pair’s charming chemistry. It looks like director Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi is all set to bring a fresh new love story, and we cannot wait to see what the Vanakkam Chennai-fame director has in store for fans!

Kadhalikka Neramillai cast

Helmed by Kiruthiga, known for her previous works such as Vanakkam Chennai and the web series Paper Rocket, the upcoming film is said to be not your typical love story. Besides the lead cast, the film will also feature Vinay Rai, Yogi Babu, Lal, John Kokken, TJ Bhanu, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, and Vinodhini, among others. AR Rahman composed the original soundtracks and score for the film, while the first single of Kadhalikka Neramillai has been crooned by actor-musician Shruti Haasan, with lyrics penned by Snehan.

Earlier, leading actor Jayam Ravi spoke at length about what the upcoming romantic drama is all about. He stated that it’s not 'our regular love story', where two people meet, fall in love, and then decide whether to be together. “Kadhalikka Neramillai is not something I have done before, since it’s not the usual boy-meets-girl stories I have done in the past. Rather, the film will feature mature love, and that’s not just in terms of age,” Jayam Ravi revealed.

The makers of the film are yet to announce the release date.
