Kadakan OTT release date: When and where to watch Hakim Shahjahan's action-packed film online

Kadakan OTT release date

Kadakan, which stars Hakim Shahjahan in the lead role, will make its OTT premiere on SUN Nxt on January 3, 2025. The Malayalam film will also be available on OTTplay Premium. The film is likely to be available only in its original language with English subtitles on the platform.

Kadakan plot and cast

Directed by Sajil Mampad, Kadakan features Hakim in the lead role of a reckless youth Sulfi. Set in Nilambur in the Malappuram district of Kerala, the film follows the daring youth who is involved with the sand mafia and the dramatic events that unfold as he and his father lock horns with the cops. Though a fictional tale, the film draws inspiration from real-life events as it tells a gripping narrative.

The film, billed as a revenge drama, received mixed reviews upon its release in March 2024 and it remains to be seen whether Hakim will manage to impress the OTT audience.

Harisree Ashokan, Jaffer Idukki, Dinesh Prabhakar, and Manikandan R. Achari also appear in key roles in this film, which is high on drama and action.

The film, produced by Khaleel Hameed, has music by Gopi Sundar.
