As announced earlier, Dulquer Salmaan, Rana Daggubati, and Bhagyasri Borse are all set to star in the upcoming pan-Indian film Kaantha. The film, which recently went on floors, is currently in full swing with its ongoing filming. In the latest update, the makers shared a heartwarming video of the lead actors, along with the crew members, enjoying a grand Onam feast on set.

Dulquer Salmaan’s production house, Wayfarer Films took to their social media pages to share the clip. The video shows the cast and crew celebrating the Onam festival with a scrumptious sadya. Captioning the post, “When it’s Sadya, smiles, and stars, remember it’s Onam! Onam celebrations with @dulQuer, @ranadaggubati, #BhagyasriBorse, @thondankani, and the team of Kaantha was pure magic!" The new video showcases the lead actors walking toward the food table, where the entire team is served the authentic Kerala delicacy on traditional banana leaves.

While Dulquer Salmaan and Rana Daggubati looked dapper in white shirt-and-mundu ensembles, Bhagyasri looked simple and elegant in an off-white kurta. Check out the new video here!

About Kaantha

Kaantha is touted as an action drama, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Telugu actor Rana Daggubati in prominent roles, and is set against the backdrop of the late 1950s in Madras. Earlier, Dulquer shared the title poster on social media, showcasing a figure standing beneath a grand chandelier. He expressed his excitement, hinting at a 'challenging role' in the film.

Kaantha is directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, known for his debut film Nila (2016), which won the Audience Award at the Cinequest San Jose Film Festival. He also created the Netflix documentary series The Hunt for Veerappan. Notably, Selvamani previously worked with Ang Lee during the Indian schedule of the Oscar-winning film Life of Pi.

Produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films in collaboration with Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, Kaantha will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam.
