JugJugg Jeeyo: Neetu Kapoor introduces fans to her on-screen family; Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan get goofy on set
Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s on-screen family is getting together for a wedding next month in their upcoming film JugJugg Jeeyo.
After 9 long years, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor is all set to make her Bollywood comeback with the much awaited comedy drama JugJugg Jeeyo. Also starring Varun Dhawan , Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead, it follows a unique story about three generations and how they hilariously tackle issues in their love life. The trailer has left fans with very high expectations and we are now eagerly waiting for the film to arrive in theatres on 24th June. Also starring Manish Paul and Prajakta Koli in supporting characters, JugJugg Jeeyo has been helmed by Raj Mehta.
Well, much to our delight, Neetu shared an exciting video introducing us to her on-screen family today. This special clip includes a glimpse of all the fun that the team had while shooting on set. In the caption, the actress wrote, “To be back on set after so long…I couldn’t have chosen more kinder, warmer and entertaining people to work with. Blessed with the best indeed! #JugJuggJeeyo coming to cinemas on 24th June!” While Neetu will be seen as Geeta Saini, a strong woman and a doting mother, Anil is playing her on-screen husband Bheem. The actor describes Bheem as a happy-go-lucky person but his co-star Neetu calls the character ‘the fakest person ever’.

Varun, on the other hand, is just like his name ‘Kukoo’. He doesn’t want to confront any situations. Meanwhile his on-screen wife Nainaa aka Kiara is a go-getter and has her priorities set. ‘Today’s strong independent woman’ is how the actress describes her character. Then there is the youngest member of the family, Ginny played by Prajakta. She is getting married in the film while her brother and father are contemplating their divorce. But the most fun character is Gurpreet Sharma portrayed by Maniesh Paul.
Well, after this brief glimpse into their lives, we can’t wait to officially meet the Sainis in theatres next month!
