There's a fresh new update from Suressh Gopi and Anupama Parameshwaran's upcoming film, titled JSK. Gopi took to his social media handles to release the official poster for the film. The new poster features the actor in an advocate's attire with the tagline, "I know what I am doing and will continue doing the same!"
The poster has piqued the interest of netizens, who are eager to see the Malayalam superstar play an advocate after a long hiatus. Written and directed by Pravin Narayan, the film marks Gopi's return to courtroom dramas after the popular 2006 legal thriller Chinthamani Kolacase.
JSK Teaser
Earlier, the makers of the film had released a teaser featuring Gopi with a full beard and a bulky look. The teaser shows a television reporter asking why Gopi's character, an advocate, is a prosecutor for an innocent woman when he had earlier defended an accused in another case. When asked if this was a publicity stunt to support both the victim and the accused, Gopi's character says, "I know what I am doing and will continue doing the same."
Anupama Parameswaran plays a client for Gopi's character.
Gopi, who captivated audiences with his performance as an advocate in Chinthamani Kolacase, has his fans excited with his return to a similar role. Whether JSK is a hit or miss, only time will tell. But whatever has been revealed about it sure has everyone's interest piqued.
Cast and crew of JSK
Besides the lead cast, Suressh Gopi's younger son Madhav Suresh, Shruti Ramachandran, Divya Pillai, Askar Ali, Baiju Santhosh, Kottayam Ramesh, and Shoby Thilkan play pivotal roles in the film. Notably, Madhav Suresh, who is yet to make his debut in Kummattikali, will be seen in a second outing in JSK.
The film, co-written by Jai Vishnu, features Renadive as the cinematographer and Samjith as the editor. The movie is produced by Cosmos Entertainments.
Interestingly, JSK also marks Anupama's comeback to Malayalam cinema after a brief gap. The Tillu Square actor's last Malayalam release was the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Kurup (2021).
