Jee Le Zaraa: Not Vicky Kaushal, but Ishaan Khatter joins Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt?

Soon after Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif tied the nuptial knot with heartthrob Vicky Kaushal , it was reported that he has been signed as the male lead of her film Jee Le Zaraa . Also starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Alia Bhatt , it is one of the most awaited films of Bollywood. Recently there were rumors that the ambitious project has been shelved because it was getting impossible for the lead stars to match their dates. However, Alia has now confirmed that Jee Le Zaraa is happening and will go on floors next year.

Well, a report shared by Quick 24 News is now suggesting that actor Ishaan Khatter has been signed as the male lead in Jee Le Zaraa, not Kat’s husband Vicky. A source in the know was quoted saying, “It’s been a while since Ishaan came onboard for the project, and they are waiting for the right time to make the official announcement. It’s an important role. Meanwhile, full fledged pre-production work will start next year, closer to the filming date.” Now that’s an interesting turn of events!

Ishaan has already worked with Alia in her 2016 film Udta Punjab as an assistant director, while Katrina is his co-star in the upcoming horror comedy Phone Bhoot, which also features Gully Boy actor Siddhant Chaturvedi. Recently he even shot for an episode of Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan season 7 with Kat and Siddhant. Jee Le Zaraa is definitely a blessing in his already exciting kitty of upcoming projects. We wish him the best!
