While director Nelson Dilipkumar had announced a sequel to the film, the makers have been tight-lipped about the cast, crew, or plot details. However, as per the latest reports, director Nelson is planning to bring actor Dhanush on board.
Dhanush to feature in Rajinikanth's Jailer 2?
Yes, you read that right! According to reports, the director has crafted a role for Dhanush in Jailer 2, and he has reportedly received Rajinikanth's approval to bring the actor on board. Although an official announcement is awaited, this latest buzz has thrilled fans, as the long-awaited moment of seeing Rajinikanth and Dhanush share the big screen is finally set to happen with Jailer 2.
Interestingly, Dhanush, who has been a hardcore 'Thalaivar' Rajinikanth fan, has often expressed his deep admiration for the actor, who is also his ex-father-in-law. At the time of Jailer's release, Dhanush showed his unwavering support for the film's team and enjoyed the blockbuster.
As per reports, Nelson Dilipkumar is also considering inviting Rajinikanth's elder daughter, Aishwarya, to the puja ceremony of Jailer 2. If the rumors are true, this event would mark a reunion between her and her ex-husband, Dhanush, at the film's launch ceremony.

Meanwhile, the director is currently gearing up for his anticipated Diwali release, Bloody Beggar, headlined by Kavin. Directed by debutant Sivabalan Muthukumar, the film is produced under Nelson Dilipkumar's production house, Filament Pictures. The story chronicles the life of a beggar whose world turns upside down after a misadventure. The film marks the Jailer-fame director's debut production venture.
