Jai Hanuman: Prashanth Varma to unveil the first-look poster of his next on THIS date

Popular filmmaker Prashanth Varma, who is eagerly awaiting to announce his upcoming mythological drama Jai Hanuman from his franchise—Prashanth Varma Cinematic Universe, has been teasing fans with a few updates about the film ahead of its launch on Diwali.

As announced earlier, the HanuMan fame director is set to make a massive announcement about the film on October 30, 2024. It has now been revealed that the filmmaker will be releasing the first-look poster of the film on Wednesday. Sharing the new update, the makers wrote, “This Diwali, bringing the legends to life with a tale that rekindles the flames of valor and honors our Indian Itihasas. @MythriOfficial & @ThePVCU proudly join hands for an EPIC FILM ~ #JAIHANUMAN. On the eve of Diwali, First Look on OCT 30th. A grand vision by @PrashanthVarma.”

Piquing the audience’s excitement surrounding the film, the makers have shared a pre-look poster that showcases Lord Hanuman, facing away as he gazes at an ancient temple nestled within a lush forest, hinting at an intriguing storyline.

Notably, the film will be backed by leading production giant Mythri Movie Makers, who have come on board to bankroll this mythological spectacle.

Prashanth's last film HanuMan became a blockbuster hit, and received widespread acclaim, setting multiple box-office records. The Teja Sajja-starrer earned over ₹350 crore globally, making it the second-highest-grossing Telugu and South Indian film of 2024, the fourth-highest-grossing Indian film of the year, and ranking as the eighth-highest-grossing Telugu film in history.  Following the success of HanuMan, Teja Sajja has established himself as one of the promising lead actors in Telugu cinema.

Rishab Shetty playing the lead in Jai Hanuman?

As per earlier Telugu reports, Kantara actor Rishab Shetty, who recently won a National Award for his performance in the mythological Kannada-language drama, is likely to be roped in to play the lead in Prashanth Varma’s upcoming film Jai Hanuman. However, an official announcement on this is expected soon. Prashanth Varma is also planning to bring popular Bollywood actors on board for the upcoming mythological superhero film.
