'Itni subah kaun uthta': Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki gets 5:55 am show at Gaiety Cinema; netizens react

Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited third release of the year, Dunki is set to arrive in theatres on December 21, 2023. Ahead of its release, the makers have opened the advance booking and witnessed an amazing response from the fans. So far, the film has earned Rs 2 crore from the advance booking. The latest report suggests that the makers have got its first ever 5:55 am show in Mumbai. Shah Rukh's fan club and SRK Universe have organised special shows of the films on over 1000 screens worldwide, which is a record for any Hindi actor.

In Mumbai, the fan club has created a new record with a magical number 5:55 am show at Gaiety Cinema, the earliest show in the history of the cinema. Reacting to the news, a user commented, “Itni subah kaun uth ta hai vo bhi movie ke liye.” “Ye time jyada hi jaldi nahi ho gaya,” said the second user. “Dear public,,,film 3,4 hafte chalti hai,b normal,” commented the third user. “Itni subhe kon jaega yrrrrr.,” reacted another user. Earlier, Shah Rukh's fan club had held its first ever 9 am show for Pathaan at Gaiety Cinema, which was followed by the first ever 6 am show for Jawan at the same venue.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki is a comedy-drama film based on donkey flights an illegal immigration entry technique. The film revolves around a group of friends who use a backdoor process to move to another country, and then struggle to return home. Besides Shah Rukh, the film also has Taapsee Pannu, Vikram Kochhar and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. Vicky Kaushal is set to make a special appearance in the film.

Dunki is all set to hit the silver screens a day ahead of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's mega actioner, Salaar, which has been scheduled to release on December 22, 2023.
