As announced earlier, Vijay Sethupathi is all set to star in Pasanga-fame director Pandiraj’s upcoming film. We had previously reported that Nithya Menen will be playing the female lead in this project. According to the latest reports, the makers have reportedly roped in director Mysskin to play a key role in the movie.
Director Mysskin to play the antagonist?
According to sources, Tamil director Mysskin, with whom Vijay Sethupathi is working on his upcoming directorial Train, has come on board to play the primary antagonist in this film. Sources also reveal that the shooting is underway in Thoothukudi. An official announcement is expected soon.
Nithya Menen and Vijay Sethupathi’s sophomore collaboration
As reported earlier, National Award-winning actress Nithya Menen and Vijay Sethupathi are set to join forces once again after their maiden Malayalam project 19(1)(a). Nithya Menen had earlier expressed her excitement about reuniting with the Tamil actor, stating that she and Vijay Sethupathi couldn't have found a better script than this one, adding that she enjoys taking on challenging roles. The film, produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, will reportedly have Vijay Sethupathi playing the role of a Parotta Master, and he is currently undergoing training for the role. However, the makers are yet to release an official update on the film's genre and other vital details.
Mysskin and Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film Train
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi, who has an exciting lineup of projects, will also be seen in Mysskin’s upcoming film Train. Touted to be a thriller, the film will feature Vijay Sethupathi in two distinct looks. Dimple Hayathi is playing the female lead, and the film also stars Ira Dayanand, Nassar, Vinay Rai, Bhavana, Sampath Raj, Babloo Prithviraj, K.S. Ravikumar, Yugi Sethu, Ganesh Venkatraman, Kaniha, Diya Seetipalli, Singam Puli, Sriranjani, Ajay Rathnam, Thrigun Arun, and Raichal Rabecca in supporting roles. The release date for the film is yet to be announced.
Notably, Mysskin and Vijay Sethupathi have previously collaborated on Pisasu II, where Vijay had a 16-minute-long cameo as a doctor.
