Is Brie Larson the real reason why The Marvels release date was pushed back?
According to a new rumor, the actress BTS drama is the real reason for the movie's delayed release.
Captian Marvel
According to Jeff Sneider of The Hot Mic podcast, the real reason why the release date of The Marvels was from July 28, 2023, to November 10, 2023, was due to Brie Larson and her behavior on set.
Apparently, the actress has been difficult to work with and she has had issues with her co-star Teyonah Parris who plays Monica Rambeau in the movie.
The actress was also not pleased that the movie was The Marvels instead of Captain Marvel 2 as it was a sequel, which is understandable considering that most of the other MCU heroes had whole trilogies named after them.
Hopefully, these rumored issues won't affect the final product when it hits the big screen as the MCU really needs a solid hit, with the mixed responses to Phase 4 and Phase 5 fist moive Ant-Man 3's lukewarm reaction, Marvel Studios cannot afford failure.
The upcoming sequel to 2019 Captain Marvel will see Carol Danvers team up with Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau aka Spectrum in order to find out the connection between their powers.
We first caught a glimpse of Captain Marvel's new costume in the post-credit scene of Ms. Marvel when she and Kamala Khan swapped places with each other.
The cast of the movie includes Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, Park Seo-Joon, and Zenobia Shroff.
While a teaser for the upcoming movie was revealed at this year's D23 event to fans, we are not sure when the studio will be releasing it online for the world to see but there is a strong possibility that it will coincide with the release of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3.
Speaking of GOTG Vol.3, The movie will be the last GOTG movie that will be directed by James Gunn, who will be busy now that he is running DC Studios along with Peter Safran.
He had hinted that this will be the last time we see the original Guardians team up hinting at the death of one or more beloved characters.
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 will hit theaters on May 5, 2023, and The Marvels will hit theaters on November 10, 2023.
