Inside Jr NTR-Rishab Shetty's spiritual retreat in Karnataka’s Udupi. See video

Kannada actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty on Monday shared a video giving a glimpse into the spiritual journey he recently took with Telugu superstar Jr NTR. Rishab, Jr NTR, and director Prashanth Neel, along with their family and friends, made a group trip to the famous Keshavanatheshwara Temple in Moodagallu, Udupi district. The specialty of this temple is that it is a cave temple carved into natural rock.

Jr NTR, along with his wife and mother, visited Karnataka and toured popular temples in the Udupi district. Rishab took time out from his busy schedule of making Kantara: Chapter 1 and accompanied Jr NTR during his spiritual retreat. "A day filled with laughter, memories, blessings, and the best company—my dear brother #JrNTR and my extended family," said Rishab while sharing photos from their visit to the Keshavanatheshwara Temple.

Jr NTR fulfilled his mother's long-time wish and took her to Udupi Sri Krishna Matha. "My mother's forever dream of bringing me to her hometown Kundapura and seeking darshan at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha has finally come true! To make it happen just before her birthday on September 2nd is the best gift I could give her," he said earlier.

Rishab, Prashanth, and other members of the Kannada film industry played gracious hosts to Jr NTR and his family, making this journey very memorable.

Jr NTR is now set to collaborate with Prashanth, who has blockbusters like KGF: Chapter 2 and Salaar: Chapter 1 to his credit. While Prashanth was expected to start the production of Salaar 2 with Telugu superstar Prabhas, he surprised everyone by announcing he would make his next movie with Jr NTR.

The regular shooting of the movie will begin by the end of October or early November. Jr NTR will join the sets in December, and the film is expected to hit the screens in January 2026.
