    After a long wait, here’s the most anticipated update from Kamal Haasan and S. Shankar’s film Indian 2. Although the makers have yet to make an official announcement, the latest reports suggest that the theatrical trailer of the upcoming vigilante action drama will be unveiled on June 25, 2024, at a grand event in Mumbai. Reports indicate that the trailer will be 2 minutes and 36 seconds long and will introduce us to the world of Senapathy’s return to a corrupt nation.

    The film is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated, as it marks the return of a highly awaited Kollywood biggie to the big screen after a long time. The trailer is expected to be a massive treat for all Ulaganayagan fans across the globe, and the hype around the film is unimaginable!

    Earlier, at the audio launch of the film, director Shankar revealed more details about the upcoming Kamal Haasan-starrer. “This film is a product of thought: what will happen if Indian thatha returns to the country in the current situation? Kamal Haasan has given an excellent performance as Indian thatha. He will set the screen on fire whenever he appears,” he revealed.

    Indian 2, S. Shankar and Kamal Haasan’s sequel to Indian, is slated for a worldwide release on July 12. The film is the sequel to the 1996 blockbuster Indian. Indian 2 boasts an ensemble cast including Siddharth, SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, Manobala, Vennela Kishore, and Deepa Shankar, among others. Indian 2 is bankrolled by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The cinematography is handled by Ravi Varman and Rathnavelu, with editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the original background score and sountracks for the film.
