Actor Siddharth has been busy promoting his upcoming vigilante action drama Indian 2 alongside leading man Kamal Haasan and director S. Shankar. While the actor has been involved in the promotions for the film, his fiancée and Heeramandi star Aditi Rao Hydari took to her social media handles to share a heartwarming and sweet shoutout for Siddharth’s upcoming film.

The actress reposted the picture of Siddharth with Kamal Haasan and Shankar during the film’s promotions and captioned “period!” with a few heart emojis, reminding her viewers that the film is set to release on July 12. 

The actress has taken to her social media pages to celebrate the upcoming film of her partner and fans cannot stop gushing about the couple. Fans who adore the couple’s posts for one another are praising the actress for supporting Siddharth, just the way the actor heaped praise on her performance in her last outing Heeramandi.

In Indian 2, Siddharth is rumoured to be playing the character of Senapathy’s grandson, according to fan theories. The Kamal Haasan-starrer, directed by Shankar, features SJ Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, Manobala, Jagan, Vennela Kishore, and Deepa Shankar, among others.

The sequel to the 1996 blockbuster film, Indian 2 marks the return of veteran army man Senapathy, who aims to eradicate corruption in the country. The makers will also release the third instalment of the film later this year. 

Meanwhile, Aditi, who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama series Heeramandi on Netflix, will next feature in the Vijay Sethupathi and Arvind Swamy-starrer silent film Gandhi Talks.
