A couple of days back, Bollywood actress cum politician (MP, Member of Parliament) Kangana Ranaut was slapped by a CISF official named Kulwinder Kaur at the Chandigarh airport. In no time, the news and the video of the incident spread like wildfire across the media and social media.
On her part, Kulwinder Kaur said that she was angry at Kangana Ranaut because of her statement that she had told about farmers during the farmers’ agitation, as her mother was also present during the agitation. Because of the slap incident. Kulwinder Kaur got suspended from her job.
No sooner had Kulwinder Kaur lost her job there were many who not just came in support of her, but also offered her a job. One such person happens to be the well-known music composer cum singer Vishal Dadlani, who took to social media and assured that he will help her in finding a job.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, there were many who came in support of Kangana Ranaut. Not just that, they also condemned the entire slap incident. The ones who came in support of Kangana Ranaut included Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan.
It so happened that, after the media person Faye D’Souza took to social media and wrote a post in which she condemned the incident, Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan ‘liked’ the post. The reason why these two actors’ ‘liking’ Faye’s post makes news, is because of Kangana Ranaut’s past incidents with the duo, on separate occasions.
As for Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut criticised the formers’ performance in Gully Boy, which she termed as mediocre. On her part, Kangana Ranaut had told the media at that time that, “I am embarrassed…What is there to beat in Gully Boy Performance ….same snappy muh phat girl… Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media has taken filmy kids love too far…stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised.”
Alia Bhatt on her part, showed extreme graciousness and appreciated Kangana for her honesty. And as for Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan, their ‘virtual feud’ started off when she mentioned’ ‘silly exes’ in an interview, without naming him. Post that, Hrithik sent a legal notice asking for a retraction. The rest, as they say, is history!
