Hip Hop Thamizha Adhi calls Kadaisi Ulaga Por 'riskiest project'; says 'I have invested everything I've earned into this movie'

Hip Hop Thamizha Adhi's highly anticipated film Kadaisi Ulaga Por is set to hit the big screens on September 20, 2024. Ahead of the release, leading man Hip Hop Thamizha Adhi, who has written, directed, and starred in the film, opened up about the challenges of its making. He called it the "most difficult project of his career".

During the pre-release event, Adhi revealed that he had invested all the money he earned throughout his career into the film, breaking all barriers to ensure its production. "I have invested everything I've earned in my career into this movie, and as the producer, it's the riskiest project I've ever taken on," the multi-talented actor-composer said. He added that if the film succeeds, he will consider making another one, aiming to prove that his production house, Hiphop Tamizha Entertainment, is capable of delivering grand-scale films to Tamil cinema audiences.

About Kadaisi Ulaga Por

The film is set in the near future, in 2028, economic sanctions have been imposed on several countries, including India. India has refused to join a coalition led by China aimed at replacing the UN. In retaliation, raids are taking place across the country amidst the chaos of an impending Third World War.

Written, directed by, and starring Hip Hop Thamizha Adhi, this upcoming thriller will be the Tamil star’s eighth film. The cast also includes Nasser, Natty, Anagha, N. Alagan Perumal, Harish Uthaman, Munishkanth, Singampuli, Kalyan Master, Elango Kumaravel, Thalaivasal Vijay, Mahanadi Shankar, Elango Kumanan, Vinoth GD, and Guhan Prakash, among others.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Arjun Raja, editor Pradeep E. Ragav, and art director R.K. Nagu. Stunt sequences were choreographed by Mahesh Mathews, while Hip Hop Thamizha Adhi also composed the background score and soundtracks for the film. The movie is produced under his home banner, Hiphop Tamizha Entertainment.
