Hera Pheri 4: Sanjay Dutt to join Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar in the film in a quirky role; details revealed
Sanjay Dutt is likely to play the villain in Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal led Hera Pheri 4.
The next instalment of Hera Pheri has finally hit the floors after a long delay due to the casting issues. After Akshay Kumar , Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal’s reunion on set for the next film in the comedy franchise, latest reports have suggested the entry of Sanjay Dutt into the film which has said to have been renamed as Hera Pheri 4 .
Several reports have suggested that the makers plan to go big with Hera Pheri 4 and Sanjay’s entry definitely adds to curiosity of the fans. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Sanjay will be playing one of the antagonists who is blind. The source of the portal also claims that the character is quite quirky and is expected to add to the Hera Pheri madness.
“Sanjay Dutt has indeed signed the film. It is said that he’ll be playing one of the antagonists in the film. His character is blind and quite quirky. He’s expected to add to the madness quotient of the Hera Pheri series,” said the source of the portal.
Earlier on, several reports had also claimed Kartik Aaryan signing Hera Pheri which was taken by many to suggest that he would be replacing Akshay Kumar in the film franchise. However, Kartik is reportedly no longer a part of the project. With reports now claiming Sanjay’s entry fans might wisely wait for the makers to confirm the news.
Previously titled Hera Pheri 3, this third instalment of the Hera Pheri franchise has been announced and delayed several times before finally going on floors. The project is now being helmed by director Farhad Samji after being rejected by filmmaker Anees Bazmee who claimed in an interview that when he was approached to direct the film it didn’t have a story or a script. The filmmaker said he rejected the offer to direct the film for this reason.
The last Hera Pheri film, Phir Hera Pheri, was released back in 2006.
