The wait is over! The trailer for the upcoming Malayalam horror-comedy drama Hello Mummy was unveiled today, November 13, on social media. Directed by debutant Vaishakh Elans, the film stars Sharaf U Dheen and Aishwarya Lekshmi, alongside Bollywood actor Sunny Hinduja.
Sharing the new trailer, the makers wrote, “Ready for a little magic and a lot of laughs! Hello Mummy trailer is here. Let me know your comments below. Movie releasing on 21st Nov.”

The new trailer begins with Sharaf U Dheen and Aishwarya Lekshmi playing a chaotic family who are always at odds with each other. Later, the trailer shifts to the horror aspect of the film, where a character named 'Mummy' lurks around Sharaf's character. The fun-filled trailer mixes both horror and comedy. Although the plot is kept under wraps, the new glimpses look promising and suggest the film will be a perfect entertainer when it hits theatres.
Sunny Hinduja on working in Malayalam cinema
Actor Sunny Hinduja, who is making his Malayalam cinema debut with Hello Mummy, spoke about the film in an interview with Hindustan Times recently. He said that he was drawn to the industry because of its “genuineness” and respect for authentic storytelling, that he 'couldn't refuse the offer'. In Hello Mummy, Hinduja plays the role of an exorcist, a character that balances both male and female energies. He said, “My character has male and female energies equally empowered within him, and as per the requirements, the character uses those energies.”

The film is penned by Family fame Sanjo Joseph. It also stars Aju Varghese, Jagadish, Johny Antony, Bindhu Panicker, Adhri Joe, Sruthy Suresh, Ganga Meera, and Joemon Jyothir, among others. Produced by Jomin Mathew, Aibin Thomas, and Rahul E S under the banners of Hangover Films and A&HS Productions, the film features music composed by Jakes Bejoy. Hello Mummy is slated for release on November 21, 2024.
