On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films has announced a new social thriller, Happy Teacher’s Day. The film starring Nimrat Kaur and Radhika Madan in the main roles will highlight the pros and cons of being a teacher in modern times. The makers dropped an announcement teaser in which they asked thought-provoking question-’But can’t they have a life?’

The video clip starts by highlighting the fact that teachers educate, enlighten, empower, and shape our lives, and ends with a question. It later shows several social media posts making caustic and embarrassing comments on teachers. Take a look:
Directed by Mikhil Musale and co-written by him and Parinda Joshi, the makers have not revealed many details of the upcoming film as of now. The other cast and crew of the movie are still kept under wraps. The film is set to go on floors on September 5, i.e today, and scheduled to hit the theatres on Teacher’s Day next year, i.e., September 5, 2023.
Besides Happy Teacher’s Day, Dinesh’s Maddock Films are also working on several interesting projects. They are bringing a horror-comedy Bhediya starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon, the producers are also making the second part of superhit Stree with Rajkummar Rao again. A social comedy-drama Sarvagun Sampann is also in works with Vaani Kapoor as the central character. Besides these, the production house has other unannounced projects in making.
Meanwhile, talking about Nimrat, she was last seen in Tushar Jalota’s social comedy Dasvi alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Yami Gautam. On the other hand, Radhika was last featured in Shiddat opposite Sunny Kaushal. Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, the film also stars Diana Penty and Mohit Raina.
