Guddu Bhaiya aka Ali Fazal begins shooting for Mirzapur season 3, shares intriguing first look

The third season of the highly awaited series Mirzapur goes on floors as Guddu Bhaiya aka Ali Fazal gears up for the shooting today. The actor took to his social media handle and treated his fans with his first look from the upcoming series.

Taking to Instagram, Ali posted a photo of himself in an intense avatar. In the photo, he is sitting on a chair in a dark room while holding a pistol in one hand. “And the time begins!! Prep, rehearsals, readings. Bring it on..laathi lakkad nahi, ab neeche se joote aur upar se bandookein fire hongi.Lagao haath kamaao kantaap! 😁😁😁😁😁 GUDDU AARAHE HAIN .. apne aap.@primevideoin @excelmovies @gurmmeetsingh”, he captioned the photo.

Soon after his post surfaced online, his girlfriend actress Richa Chaddha reacted with a heart emojis, while Amyra Dastur wrote, “Yaaaaaaas” and added a fire emoji and #gudduisback. Even fans are thrilled after seeing the first glimpse of their favourite character from the series. One user wrote, “Bhaiya me bhaiya guddu bhaiya, season 3”, another wrote “Cannot wait”, while other excited fans asked when the new season is dropping in the comment section.

Earlier, Amazon Prime Video officially confirmed the third season of Mirzapur. The upcoming new season will see the return of cast of the season 2, including Mirzapur king Ali Fazal, Golu Tripathi Sharma aka Shweta Tripathi Sharma, dethroned don Kaleen Bhaiya aka Pankaj Tripathi. Also, fans hope the character of Munna Bhaiya played by Divyendu Sharma, who was shot to death in the last season, would appear in the upcoming seasons because of his continued popularity.

As far as the storyline of the new season is considered, it is being said that it would be full of unexpected developments. Season 2 finished with a lot of unanswered questions. While Guddu Bhaiya has become the new king of Mirzapur, it is expected that Kaleen Bhaiya would return with full might to recover his power.

Directed by Karan Anshuman, Gurmmeet Singh, and Mihir Desai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Kassim Jagmagia, Mirzapur season 3 is expected to be released by the end of 2022.
