    The official trailer of Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu’s upcoming adventure comedy drama, Grrr, is here! Ahead of its release, the film's makers took to their social media handles to share the new trailer. "The fun-filled trailer of #GRRR is here….Roar with laughter," the makers wrote while sharing the hilarious trailer.

    The video begins with a news headline reporting a man's mysterious disappearance, sparking various speculations about his fate, including whether he was killed out of honor or betrayed in love. However, the next shot reveals a drunk Kunchacko Boban inside a lion’s enclosure at Thiruvananthapuram zoo. Suraj, portraying Haridas, one of the zoo officers, enters the enclosure to rescue the man. However, both of them become trapped in the den, leading to several hilarious exchanges between the lead actors. The trailer promises a thrilling yet fun-filled watch, with Suraj making a comeback with his popular ‘Thiruvananthapuram accent’.

    Directed by Jay K, known for helming projects such as Ezra, Aanum Pennum, and the Hindi film Dybbuk, the upcoming comedy drama stars Kunchako Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead roles, with Shruti Ramachandran, Rajesh Madhavan, Anagha, and Shobi Thilakan in supporting roles. The film is inspired by true events about people jumping or falling into a lion’s den across the globe.

    Recently, the film's makers released behind-the-scenes footage, including shots of a lion. Kunchacko Boban had earlier revealed that he had shot with a real-life lion in South Africa for this film. He also mentioned that the makers 'took all safety precautions', and he enjoyed the experience.

    Grrr is slated to have a theatrical release on June 14, 2024.
