Good Bad Ugly: Arjun Das gets emotional, reflects on Ajith Kumar's kindness in his career

Actor Arjun Das, known for his powerful performance as Anbu in Kaithi (2019), has reached a significant milestone by landing a key role in Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar's upcoming movie Good Bad Ugly. Reflecting on his early struggles and the path he took to this moment, Arjun shared an emotional statement recounting his journey and the gratitude he feels toward Ajith.

“When I first came to Chennai to pursue my dream of acting, I wasn’t sure where to begin,” Arjun said, highlighting how Suresh Chandra’s team at D’One helped him establish a foothold in the industry. “It was a great way to meet directors and producers and seek opportunities. During that time, I had the privilege to work closely with Ajith sir, from visiting him on movie sets to helping with promotions. Believe it or not, I was the one who uploaded the teaser of Veeram online.”

Arjun emphasized how Ajith’s kindness and support have remained a steady influence in his career. “Ajith Sir didn’t have to, but he always put in a word for me in every movie of his,” he recalled. “I still remember when he called me after Master and said, ‘Arjun, we will work together soon.’ I’m truly happy that it’s finally happening. Sharing the screen with him is a dream come true.”

To Ajith’s loyal fanbase, Arjun extended a message of appreciation: “To Ajith sir’s fans who have always asked me when I would be doing a movie with him—this is it. Thank you for all the support and love. I promise to give this my all.”

He also expressed gratitude to director Adhik Ravichandran and Mythri Movies for their confidence in him, adding, “Ajith Sir, this one’s for you and because of you. See you in theatres real soon!”

The production of Good Bad Ugly is currently underway in Spain. Written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film also stars Trisha, Prasanna, and Sunil.
