The long-awaited glimpse is here! After captivating audiences with an intriguing first-look poster this morning, the makers of Anushka Shetty’s upcoming film Ghaati have unveiled the first glimpse of the actress on her 43rd birthday.
Sharing the glimpse, the makers wrote, “Prepare for the mighty queen’s rightful return to power and her reign over the #GHAATI. #GhaatiGlimpse out now. Happy Birthday to The Queen #AnushkaShetty. In Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.”

The glimpse opens with a line of people walking through hilly terrain, carrying baskets. It then cuts to Anushka Shetty's character, who walks fiercely toward a group and is seen ruthlessly chopping off a man’s head. Carrying the severed head, the blood-covered actress smokes a cigar with a menacing look. This powerful scene has sent fans into a frenzy, with many eagerly awaiting the actress's portrayal of such a ruthless avatar.

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film revolves around an empowered woman who becomes entangled in the illegal weed trade due to unforeseen circumstances. Ghaati marks the second collaboration between Anushka Shetty and director Krish, following their work on the 2010 film Vedam.
The movie, an action drama, is produced by Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Rajiv Reddy under the banners of UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments. On the technical side, Manojh Reddy Katasani is the cinematographer, while Nagavelli Vidya Sagar has composed the background score and soundtracks. Thota Tharani serves as the art director.
The screenplay for Ghaati is penned by Chintakindi Srinivas Rao, Krish, and Burra Sai Madhav. With principal photography largely completed, the film is currently in post-production. Aiming for a pan-Indian release, it will be available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
