Game Changer postponed again! Dil Raju says Ram Charan-starrer to release on this date in 2025

It's official! Ram Charan and S. Shankar’s long-awaited political thriller Game Changer is all set to hit the big screens on Sankranthi 2025. On the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, producer Dil Raju, who bankrolls Game Changer under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, took to the official handle to share the highly anticipated release date update of the film.

The producer revealed that although the makers had initially eyed Christmas 2024 for the film’s release, they have now decided to aim for Sankranthi 2025, with January 10, 2025, as the official release date. He explained that releasing on Sankranthi would make it easier for them to distribute the movie in multiple languages worldwide.

Dil Raju also shared that the Game Changer team had spoken to the makers of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Vishwambhara, who had earlier planned for a Sankranthi 2025 release. Thanking the makers of Vishwambhara for accommodating the change, Dil Raju explained that Game Changer is a large-scale project with extensive post-production work required to ensure high-quality results.

As speculated earlier, the makers of Chiranjeevi’s magnum opus Vishwambhara had been considering withdrawing from the Sankranthi 2025 release, as Chiranjeevi was reportedly down with chikungunya for several days, leading to delays in the shooting schedule.

That’s when Dil Raju, who is producing S. Shankar and Ram Charan’s Game Changer, decided to chime in, shifting the release from Christmas 2024 to Sankranthi 2025. He felt that the upcoming political action drama required more time for post-production work. Now, with the official announcement, fans of the global star can celebrate watching the most awaited Telugu film this Sankranthi on the big screen!
