The film is directed by S Shankar and it is the first time that he has collaborated with the Telugu star. Although the makers have yet to wrap up a few portions of the film, Shankar recently shared some exciting updates.

During the promotions for his upcoming film Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan, S Shankar spoke about his long-awaited film with Ram Charan, Game Changer. Reflecting on the film’s delayed release, the director said, “The movie is almost done. Another 10 days of shooting are left. I will finish the production part after Indian 2’s release. Then, I will lock the final footage and concentrate on post-production works. Once all the work is completed, we will make a decision (about the release date). The movie will be released as soon as possible.”

According to reports, the movie’s narrative focuses on Ram Charan’s character, who plays an IAS officer named Ram Nandan. He is an honest officer who disrupts the political strategies of Srikanth, SJ Surya, and Naveen Chandra’s characters, who have negative roles.
Ram Nandan, who is also known as Appanna, is a humble yet honourable man who forms a political organisation for his community. However, his successor, played by SJ Surya, betrays him along with his close friend Srikanth. Nothing much is known about the characters played by SJ Surya and Naveen Chandra, which adds to the intrigue surrounding the story.

For the uninitiated, Karthik Subbaraj had declined to direct the film and insisted that S Shankar helm the project.
