‘Gadar part 3 hi boldo’: Aamir Khan announces Lahore 1947 starring Sunny Deol, leaves netizens with mixed feelings

Sunny Deol is one of the most adored and popular superstars of our country, who has several hits in his account like Border, Betaab, Damini and Gadar- Ek Prem Katha. Sadly the last decade was a big dud in his filmography. But like a phoenix he rose from the ashes of those flops when he arrived in theatres this year with Gadar 2. The film broke records, rocked the box office and emerged as an all time blockbuster hit. Seeing Sunny as the he-man of Bollywood alongside his Sakeena aka Ameesha Patel was a true delight for movie lovers. Well, the actor with the ‘dhai kilo ka haath’ has now announced his next film.

Fans were actually hoping that Sunny paaji would announce the next part in the beloved Gadar franchise. Well, his next film is not Gadar 3 but he will be returning to Pakistan once again. And this time in collaboration with Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan. That’s right! Sharing the big news on the official handle of Aamir Khan Productions, Aamir wrote: “I, and the entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled Lahore, 1947. We look forward to collaborating with the immensely talented Sunny, and one of my favourite directors Raj Santoshi.”

Aamir further shared, “The journey we have embarked on promises to be most enriching. We seek your blessings🙏🏻 a. ❤️.” Well, netizens have mixed feelings about this project, which they have expressed in the comment section below. For instance, one social media user wrote: “Gadar part 3 hi boldo”, whereas another shared, “Ha to andhbhakton, sunny paji ki wjh se support krna h ya Aamir Khan ki wjh se boycott?😂” A third excited fan stated: “Lahore 1947 Sher Phir Jaayega Pakistan 😍🔥”, whereas another netizen wrote: “Good😂 now pol sycophants will be confused.😂”
