Extraction 2 first look shows Chris Hemsworth taking on bad guys on a snowy mountaintop

The first look for the upcoming sequel to the highly successful 2020 action movie Extraction was revealed and it seems that everyone's favorite mercenary for hire Tyler Rake will be leaving Dhaka and heading for an icy tundra in the Czech Republic. The plot or cast details of the sequel have not been revealed but actress Golshifteh Farahani is said to reprise her role as Nik Khan as Tyle's handler and friend. The movie is written by Joe Russo and is based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks.

Chris Hemsworth plays Tyler Rake in Extraction who is a former SASR operator turned mercenary. Notable for playing the Asgardian God of Thunder Thor in MCU's Avengers, Chris delivered a blockbuster in 2020 with his performance in Extraction. The movie ended on a cliffhanger where fans are left to question if he survives or not. While announcement of the sequel eased some of those concerns, the first look of the actor from the film definitely makes fans of the film looks forward to it. 

Sam Grave will be returning to direct, the original Extraction was a huge success for Netflix becoming the most-watched movie on the streaming platform reaching over 90 million users worldwide after its debut in April. While there is no official release date we can expect the movie to stream hopefully sometime in 2022.
