Ennu Swantham Punyalan trailer out: Arjun Ashokan, Anaswara Rajan and Balu Varghese promise a fun, thrill ride

Arjun Ashokan, who has had an interesting 2024 with releases as varied as Bramayugam and Anand Sreebala, joined hands with Anaswara Rajan and Balu Varghese for yet another entertainer. The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film released the trailer a while ago and it promises a thrilling fun ride. Helmed by debutant Mahesh Madhu, the film is slated to hit the big screens on January 10, 2025.

The trailer of Ennu Swantham Punyalan was released on social media on December 28 by some of the notable names from Mollywood, including Prithviraj Sukumaran.

The trailer begins with Balu Varghese’s character, a priest, who is heading to another church as a result of a ‘punishment transfer’. His role seems to be of dubious nature with a woman dismayed to find a female's hair in a priest’s room. Adding intrigue, Anaswara Rajan too appears with Balu Varghese, raising questions about why a woman is there with him. We then see that a ‘thief’ has entered his residence. Arjun Ashokan seems to be playing an eccentric character who threatens Balu Varghese that some dire fate is awaiting him.

The trailer then cuts to tense scenes, involving cops, police jeep, and people surrounding the residence.

While presenting the popular actors in exciting looks and a different setting, the trailer hints that the film could be a comedy thriller with fantasy elements. Apart from the lead trio, the film also features Renji Panicker, Baiju, and Althaf, all of whom also make an appearance in the 2-minute trailer.

The trailer has already started garnering likes and comments on YouTube with several fans saying that they are eagerly waiting to watch the movie on the big screen.

The film is produced by Ligo John under the Truth Seekers Productions banner and distributed by Listin Stephan's Magic Frames. The film will be released in Malayalam and Tamil.
