As promised, the makers of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki dropped the first song, ‘Lutt Putt Gaya on Wednesday. With only a month left until the film’s release, the makers piqued the interest of the audience with Shah Rukh’s romantic number with Taapsee Pannu. The king of romance is back with what he does best in the recently released Arijit Singh’s soulful rendition.
Taking to Instagram, Shah Rukh shared the song and wrote, “Agar dance mein isse zyaada chhalaang lagata toh udd hi jaata. I hope ki yeh romance @taapsee aur aapke dilon mein bhi zaroor tent lagayega. @arijitsingh, your voice made me sound like love, yet again. Cheers to @ipritamofficial, @swanandkirkire, @safirock and @ganeshacharyaa for the simplicity and energy of Lutt Putt Gaya.” In the song, Shah Rukh can be seen dragged by Taapsee in the background while he dances in awe of her with the group of dancers. In the end, Taapsee asks him to stare her after she reaches London.

Meanwhile, Dunki is upcoming immigration drama set in Punjab and directed by Rajkumar Hirani. Shah Rukh plays Hardy, a man who desperately wants to move to London with his friends. Taapsee plays the character of Manu, while Vicky Kaushal features as Sukhi in the film. The film also has Boman Irani in a pivotal role. Backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, the film is set to arrive in theatres on December 21, 2023.
