Dunki: Shah Rukh Khan and squad transition from formal avatars to mysterious desert outfits in these new posters

After releasing the Drop 1 of his much-awaited movie Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan has now shared two new posters of the movie. The stills are in stark contrast to each other and give a hint of how the lives of the male protagonist and his friends turn upside down when they embark on a tumultuous journey as immigrants. The characters transition from clean formal attires to dusty and intriguing desert outfits in the same.

Talking about the same, in the first poster we see Shah Rukh wearing a formal green Kurta and black pants. He paired the look with a sleeveless dark blue sweater with stripes. The Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge actor looks further dapper in sunglasses. Taapsee Pannu wears a white Kurti with faded blue jeans and a denim jacket. She could be seen sporting a long braid. Vicky Kaushal can also be seen in a striped white shirt and light brown pants with a peach-colored tie. We further see Vikram Kochchar and Anil Grover’s characters also in formal ensembles. They can be seen carrying some files and documents presumably on a quest to travel abroad. Take a look at the posters.

However, in the next poster, we see Shah Rukh and company in the middle of an isolated and dusty desert. The Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actor could be seen in a black Kurta with light brown pants. He has a colorful shawl hanging by his shoulder and holds a large bag. Behind him, Taapsee can be seen wearing a grey Kurta with black pants and a Hijab. He captioned the same stating, “Hum bilkul usi tarah dikh rahe hain jaise Raju sir ne apne “Ullu ke patthon” ko imagine kiya tha…. Inke baare mein bahot kuch share karna abhi baaki hai.”

It seems the second poster in the desert drops a hint at how the characters will face obstacles while traveling as immigrants. The movie has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani. It will be released on December 21, 2023.
