Double iSmart first single: Step Amaar from Ram Pothineni's film to be out on THIS date

Make way for iSmart Shankar, as Ram Pothineni is all set to set the dance floor on fire! The first single from the actor’s sequel to iSmart Shankar, Double iSmart, titled Step Amaar, will be released on July 1.

The makers of the film took to their social media pages to make the exciting new announcement and shared an interesting poster featuring the actor in a pose dripping with swagger. He is seen in a quirky outfit as he stands in front of a statue of Lord Shiva. The original music and soundtracks have been composed by Mani Sharma, who also composed the soundtracks for the 2019 film, iSmart Shankar.

The makers also announced that the promo for the first single will be released tomorrow (June 29) at 11 am IST. It looks like the promotions for the film have officially begun, as Double iSmart looks set to be released in theatres on August 15, 2024.

Double iSmart gears up for Independence Day release!

As reported earlier, the makers of the film are now gearing up for its theatrical release on August 15, 2024, this 77th Independence Day. 

“LOCKED & LOADED WITH DOUBLE IMPACT. The highly anticipated action-packed thriller 'Ustaad' #RamPothineni & Dashing Director #PuriJagannadh's #DoubleISMART GRAND RELEASE IN CINEMAS ON AUGUST 15th, 2024,” the makers wrote while making the announcement. 

Earlier, Double iSmart was supposed to clash at the box office with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule. However, since the release of that film has been pushed, Ram Pothineni’s film is now gearing for a solo release.

Helmed by Puri Jagannadh, Double iSmart is the sequel to Ram and Puri Jagannadh's 2019 blockbuster hit, iSmart Shankar. Touted to be a science fiction action drama, the first installment narrated the story of an assassin who receives memories of a slain police officer and is later tasked with helping the authorities on a murder case.

For the sequel, Ram has undergone a massive physical transformation and will be sporting a stylish look. Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is playing the antagonist in this movie. Kavya Thapar is the female and the movie also stars Bani J, Ali, Getup Sreenu, Sayaji Shinde, Makrand Deshpande, and Temper Vamsi in key roles. Double iSmart will be released in theatres in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada.
