Don 3: Kiara Advani takes home her biggest pay cheque after beating Kriti Sanon for the role opposite Ranveer Singh

It came as a major surprise when filmmaker Farhan Akhtar announced that not Shah Rukh Khan, but Ranveer Singh will be taking the beloved Don franchise forward. While fans were initially skeptical about Ranveer stepping into Bollywood’s king SRK’s shoes, the livewire of Bollywood left audiences pretty impressed with his first look. Soon the gorgeous Kiara Advani came on board as the leading lady of Don 3. This left us eagerly looking forward to the fresh pairing. But did you know Kriti Sanon was also being considered for the role opposite Ranveer Singh? However, the new Don was apparently leaning more towards Kiara.

A report shared by Bollywood Hungama suggests that Kiara and Kriti were shortlisted for Don 3 by Farhan. However, Ranveer was keen on Kiara being onboarded as he believed that their off-screen camaraderie would reflect in their on-screen chemistry. This resulted in Kiara being cast for the role. Well, the actress has reportedly taken home her biggest pay cheque till date for Don 3. A source revealed, “Kiara Advani has charged Rs. 13 crores to come on board Don 3.”

The source was further quoted saying, “It's the biggest that she charged to date and the actress is all charged up to prep for the big-scale action scenes of Don 3. The amount that Kiara has fetched for Don 3 is almost 50 percent higher than what she is getting for another action film, War 2 with Hrithik Roshan and JR. NTR.”

Well, this year is going to be quite exciting for Kiara who has back to back films in her line up. Apart from Don 3, the gorgeous actress will be seen in S. Shankar’s Telugu film Game Changer, alongside Ram Charan. She also has War 2 opposite Hrithik Roshan, which marks her debut in the YRF Spy Universe.
