DNA: It's a wrap for Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan’s thriller | Check out the latest pic

Atharvaa and Malayalam actress Nimisha Sajayan are sharing screen space in their upcoming thriller titled DNA. Recently, the makers of the film announced that they had concluded filming and shared a picture with the entire cast and crew on the last day on set. The film began shooting last year in October and is yet to finalize the release date. Check out the new post here!

 Earlier, the makers unveiled the first-look poster featuring the lead pair, Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan. The actors are seen in a heartwarming pose as they embrace each other. The other half of the poster features Atharvaa giving an intense stare. The poster hints at a strong crime thriller with a love story as its backdrop. Interestingly, the poster also has a tagline that reads, "Two strands wind around each other to make a twisted ladder," which has piqued the audience’s interest. Is it a twisted revenge story? Or, as the title suggests, is it another medical crime thriller? Nonetheless, this movie is certainly one to watch out for.

Written and directed by Nelson Venkatesan, well known for Oru Naal Koothu and Farhana, DNA is produced by Jayanthi Ambethkumar, who previously produced the 2023 hit Kavin-starrer Dada. Besides the lead cast, the movie also stars Ramesh Thilak in a key role. On the technical front, the movie features cinematography by Parthiban and editing by VJ Sabu Joseph. Interestingly, five composers - Sathyaprakash, Sreekanth Hariharan, Pravin Saivi, Sahi Siva and Anal Akash - have been roped in to score music for the film.

Director Nelson about DNA

Earlier, Nelson revealed that Atharvaa will be donning two different looks in the film. “Atharvaa will be sporting a new look in the film, which will be one of the film's surprises," the director revealed. He added, "His character is a bit unconventional and will be something that we haven't seen in our films before.” He further said that he chose Atharvaa and Nimisha for the lead roles as they are powerful performers.
