Dhruv Vikram’s first-look poster
The new poster features the huge statue of a bison, and before the figure is Dhruv Vikram, who is seen kneeling in a three-point position. Although his face is not very visible, it looks like the young actor is gearing up to unleash his power.
The first look has been receiving overwhelming responses on X (formerly known as Twitter), with fans urging the makers to drop more updates soon! Overall, the poster reflects the aggressive tone of the title and it looks like the movie is going to be an intriguing watch this year!
Dhruv Vikram and Mari Selvaraj’s collaboration
Directed by Maamannan director Mari Selvaraj, the upcoming film stars Dhruv Vikram in the lead role, which also has Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead. The movie was officially announced two months earlier in March, when production houses Applause Entertainment and Neelam Studio came forward to back the project.
Earlier, it was reported that the upcoming film is a sports biopic of former Tamil Nadu Kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan, who is a recipient of the Arjuna Award. It is to be noted that Manathi Ganesan is a close relative of Mari Selvaraj, and the director had earlier revealed that he wished to make a feature film about his life. Actor Dhruv has been preparing to get into the shoes of a Kabbadi player and has been training to play the game. The new physical transformation is certainly visible in the first-look poster.
Interestingly, Dhruv Vikram's movie Bison with Mari Selvaraj was initially set to start before Maamannan. However, actor-politician Udhayanidhi had requested that his movie be filmed first as he wanted to complete his acting commitments before fully focusing on his political career.
