Rajkumar Hirani’s much awaited immigration drama, which went on floors this week, is turning out to be a casting coup with a star cast comprising of Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu and Dharmendra.
After his 2018 film Zero, Bollywood’s king Shah Rukh Khan went on a self-imposed sabbatical. But much to our delight, in 2020 he began shooting for his ‘comeback’ film Pathaan , which was officially announced in March this year right before he travelled to Spain for an international schedule. Also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the film will arrive in theatres on 25th January 2023. After returning home, SRK completed the shoot of another upcoming project which is being helmed by Atlee.
Well, yesterday the superstar reportedly joined Rajkumar Hirani in Film City on the sets of their next film. This will mark his first project not only with the ace filmmaker, but also with actress Taapsee Pannu . Buzz suggests that a Punjab neighborhood has been created for a long shooting schedule in Film City, after which the team will jet off for the film’s foreign leg. According to the latest report shared by Mid Day, veteran superstar Dharmendra has now been roped in to play Shah Rukh’s on-screen father in this immigration drama.
