Dhanush will be working with 'Thunivu' director H. Vinoth for his next project

Director H.vinoth who is gearing up for the release of his action heist movie starring Ajith in the lead Thunivu next week revealed in a recent interview that he will be working with Dhanush for his next project.

In the interview, the director said that he narrated a script to the actor and was given the go-ahead, He also divulged that the story was about a con man and he initially pitched the story to Ajith back in 2019.

H.Vinoth made his directorial debut with the 2014 heist movie Sathuranga Vettai, which starred Natty and Ishaara Nair in the lead and was a critical hit.

He followed this up by working with Karthi in the action thriller Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, which was a critical and commercial success and earned multiple awards.

He followed this up with two movies with Ajith first being Nerkonda Paarvai a remake of the 2016 Hindi movie Pink.

Followed by a third, the 2022 action thriller Valimai. Thunivu marks the third collaboration between the actor and the director.

This collaboration will mark the third movie the actor has signed up for in 2023. Currently, the actor has two projects lined up for 2023, they are the coming-of-age drama Vaathi in which he will be starring alongside Samyuktha Menon. The movie is directed by Venky Atluri and is being shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.

And the action movie Captain Miller directed by Arun Matheswaran. he will also be making his second directorial venture in a yet-to-be-titled project.

Thunvi will be clashing at the Tamil box office with Thalapthy Vijay's Varisu . Vijay and Ajith are two of the biggest stars in the Tamil movie industry and have had movies clash at the office before. It will be interesting to see who emerges on top this time.
