The release trailer of Devera Part 1 teases an epic battle between Jr NTR’s mysterious hero and Saif Ali Khan’s ruthless antagonist, set against stunning visuals and an intense background score.
Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan in Devara
Telugu superstar Jr NTR on Sunday unveiled the final theatrical trailer of his most-awaited movie, Devara: Part 1. While releasing the trailer, he expressed his excitement about the film’s upcoming worldwide release.
“Here’s the #DevaraReleaseTrailer… Can’t wait for you all to experience DEVARA this Sept 27th!” he tweeted.
The latest trailer for Devara doesn’t reveal much about the plot or its characters but promises an immersive experience with stunning visuals and an engrossing background score. The focus is on the film’s intense vibe, where Jr NTR's character, Devara, is plagued by nightmares of being forced back into violence. Though he despises bloodshed, he is willing to resort to it again to protect the innocent and stop a ruthless tribe of killers.
From the trailer, it’s clear that director Koratala Siva is positioning Jr NTR as a larger-than-life, mysterious hero, revered like a demigod by those he protects. The narrative revolves around Devara’s quest to instil fear in men who know no fear.
Jr NTR and Koratala Siva have emphasized that Devara stands out from traditional hero-centric films. Unlike past films where the hero empowers the common man, Devara seeks to strike fear into those who terrorize the helpless.
Saif Ali Khan portrays the head of the fearless tribe, whose schemes to defeat Devara form the core of the conflict. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor in the female lead role. Devara: Part 1 is set to release on September 27.
NTR is confident about the movie's potential to resonate with mass audiences. Based on pre-release ticket sales in the US, the film is poised for a huge opening. Devara is particularly special for Jr NTR’s fans, as it's his first solo release in over six years. It is also expected to provide director Koratala Siva with a much-needed comeback after the Acharya disaster.
