Devara Part 1 trailer release date announced! Here’s when Jr NTR’s fiery glimpse will be unveiled

An exciting Devara update is here! On the special occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the makers of the Jr NTR-starrer announced the trailer release date of the film. Sharing a fiery poster of the leading man, they revealed that the trailer will drop on September 10, 2024.

Along with sharing a new poster of Jr NTR, the makers wrote on social media, “Celebrate today. Conquer in a couple of days. Face your fears head-on from September 10th with #DevaraTrailer.” The new poster features a powerful-looking Jr. NTR, geared up to save the people of the coast. Dressed in a completely black ensemble, the actor stands tall against the backdrop of roaring sea waves. Check out the new poster here! 

Anirudh Ravichander impresses audiences with his Devara music

Anirudh Ravichander, who serves as the composer for the Jr NTR-starrer, has been delivering some of his best music for the film. From the "Fear Song" to "Daavudi," fans have been grooving to the young composer's energetic compositions and are eagerly anticipating enjoying the cinematic experience on the big screen very soon. 

Jr. NTR to play dual roles in Devara Part 1

According to reports, it is speculated that Jr NTR will be taking on two roles in the upcoming action drama. Earlier, the makers unveiled a poster featuring Jr. NTR in two distinct looks, further fueling speculation about his dual roles. Rumor has it that he will be portraying both the father and the son in the film.

Devara plot, cast

Directed by Koratala Siva, the upcoming action-drama stars Jr NTR alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The story revolves around a savior figure, played by Jr NTR, who is tasked with protecting 10 coastal villages where a huge treasure is hidden. The film is also set to touch upon the horrific Karamchedu incident, which occurred near Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh and sparked political chaos in 1985. For context, several Dalits were brutally killed, many were injured, and hundreds were left homeless by merciless upper-caste attackers during the 1985 incident.  

In addition to the lead cast, the film also features Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh in supporting roles.
