Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, has arrived on the big screen, garnering mixed to positive reception. While the film is making waves around the world, fans are anticipating more information about its OTT release. Given that Devara marks Jr NTR's first film in the last two years, the hype surrounding the film is palpable.

As announced earlier, the streaming rights for Devara have been acquired by Netflix for a whopping ₹155 crore, and it will be available on the platform after its theatrical run.
According to reports, the makers plan to debut the film on the OTT platform after a 50-day theatrical run. This delay is reportedly due to the Hindi version's upcoming major release in national multiplex chains, which requires an 8-week interval between its theatrical debut and digital availability, according to their agreement. Typically, films hit OTT within four weeks of their theatrical release. However, while viewers will have to wait for the digital release, they can still enjoy Devara in theaters.

Following the first-day-first-show release of Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s action spectacle Devara, fans have been flooding the internet with videos from theaters. While the film has faced some criticism for its flaws and predictable storyline, it has mostly received great feedback from audiences.
As of now, the film has earned approximately ₹28.56 crore at the domestic box office on its first day across all languages, with a worldwide gross of around ₹140 crore. The film is also benefiting from the strong advance bookings globally, indicating high preference over other releases. Considering the box office reception, the film is set to recover its budget during this weekend. For context, Devara has reportedly been made on a budget of ₹300 crore.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara stars Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles.
