Devara: Meet the menacing villain Bhaira aka Saif Ali Khan from Jr NTR-starrer

Happy Birthday, Saif Ali Khan! On the special occasion of the Bollywood star’s birthday, the makers of his upcoming Telugu action drama Devara took to their social media pages to unveil the first look and a glimpse from the Jr NTR-starrer. Sharing the new glimpse, the makers wrote, “His Presence is a Celebration of Havoc. The HUNT will be more brutal than ever.”

The new glimpse introduces us to a menacing and fearsome Saif Ali Khan in a never-seen-before avatar as Bhaira. The clips showcase a tough and bulky-looking Bhaira fighting men and seemingly leading a group of his own. In another shot, the actor sports a different look, with slightly longer hair, chasing someone in the woods with a dagger. The killer glimpse has impressed the fans, who are now convinced that director Koratala Siva is set to deliver a major blockbuster. 

For the unversed, Devara marks the Telugu cinema debut of the Bollywood star, who will be playing the antagonist, opposite Jr NTR’s character. 

Devara Part 1 shoot wrapped up, gears up for release

Recently, Jr NTR announced the completion of the shooting for the first part of his upcoming film. He shared a photo from the sets and expressed gratitude for the wonderful journey of shooting for the movie. He also added that he’s excited for everyone to 'sail into the world' crafted by Siva on the 27th of September.

Devara cast and plot

Directed by Koratala Siva, the upcoming action-drama stars Jr NTR alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The story revolves around a savior figure, played by Jr NTR, who is tasked with protecting ten coastal villages where a vast treasure is hidden. Besides the lead cast, the film will feature Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, Murali Sharma, and Abhimanyu Singh in supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the original background score and soundtrack for the film.
